What you get

A classified, survey-grade point cloud (.LAS/.LAZ/.E57) plus the derived products your team actually opens: a digital terrain model (DTM) and digital surface model (DSM), contours, cross-sections, and an orthomosaic, exported as .dwg, .rcp, or straight into your CAD/GIS workflow. For civil and utility corridor work, the same capture produces existing-conditions surfaces your engineers can drop directly into a design file.

What it lets you do

Evaluate slopes and drainage, flag flood-prone areas, calculate cut-and-fill volumes, and optimize a road or utility layout before construction begins, not after a change order. Re-fly the same site later at a fraction of the original cost to check the design against as-built conditions.

How accurate is drone LiDAR mapping, really?

Accuracy depends on ground control and flight parameters as much as the sensor. With RTK/PPK positioning and ground control points, we deliver to survey-grade tolerances, as tight as 1–3 cm, when the project calls for it. We'll scope the control method to match what your design phase actually requires.

Will the data open in the software our team already uses?

Yes. Deliverables export to .dwg, .rcp, .las/.laz/.e57, and standard CAD/GIS/BIM formats. No proprietary viewer required.

Do we still need a licensed surveyor?

For master planning, conceptual design, and visualization, no license is required and we deliver directly. For boundary delineation or sealed final-design survey documents, Texas requires a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS). We capture the data; your RPLS certifies what needs a seal. Ask us and we can work alongside the surveyor you already use.

What's the largest site you've mapped?

Recent work ranges from a 4-acre property assessment to a 122-acre proposed residential development outside Brownsville, TX, and five miles of elevated rail corridor flown for flood-risk terrain analysis. Site size is rarely the constraint; flight planning scales with the project.
